This shelter is located in a very rural area that relies on donations for food for the dogs & cats housed there.

Why is Sophie Sad?
A year ago, Sophie was adopted. Against the
rules and agreements made, the new owner
had Sophie declawed. Apparently within days
of being declawed Sophie didn't want her
owner near her, was in pain and didn't want
to walk. A year later, her adopter returned her
to AAL because she "wasn't affectionate".
