A much anticipated HAPPY TAILS post!!!! Miss Athena has officially been adopted!!

This beautiful senior girl had all the odds stacked against her: breed discrimination, age and had to be an only pet. Luckily for Athena, her foster Mom fell in love with her and has assured this wonderful girl that she can live out the rest of her life in the luxury of her favorite fireplace.

Since being rescued, Athena has gained a lot of confidence and is able to take peaceful walks with her Mom and also receive endless cuddles as any 80lb lapdog would require!

Special thank you to her mom for giving Athena a chance when no one else would. Also, for learning to adjust to an oversized lovebug!

Whiskey was adopted into and we are BEYOND ecstatic for this sweet deserving boy! He will continue to receive vet care through AAL while his new wonderful dad provides him with lots of love!  We may not know how much more time Whiskey has, but he has found love and will never be neglected or chained to a fence again! Happy Tails Whiskey, we love you so!

Miss Puddin Pop has settled in nicely with her new loving family that includes not only humans, but Beagle friends too.  She loves all of her new toys and comfy beds that she gets to lounge on all day.  It is safe to say that Puddin is one lucky girl!

Puddin also wanted to thank anyone that donates to Animal Adoption League!  She needed vetting and dental pretty badly and it only was made possible by AAL's generous supporters!  

Finley was found under a storage building at 7 weeks old. He weighed only 1.5 pounds and was completely terrified of humans.  Fast forward 2 years later and his is a handsome hunk weighing in at 13lbs and his best friends are two poodles.  They all get along great and Finley is spoiled rotten by his family.
